Whooping Cranes-Oct 2013-JES

This is a small mini painting, 4″ x 4″ x 1/8″ on a Ampersand hard board, that I specially coat for oil painting. This is a series of 4 , mini  4″ x 4″ painting I am doing and listing on eBay for Christmas gifts this December. Today I will be panting a bull elk as I have seen in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, ND and so I’ll be posting later this week. I will also paint a sandhill crane and a trumpeter swan just before migration this past October in Crex Meadows, in Grantsburg, WI.

I enjoy painting and eBay has been very good to me over the years, if you enjoy the bidding process, please try, the starting bid is $0.01 to get the process started. I list them for 10 days and this gives everybody time to find my site, when you come on eBay in the query box just type my name Jim Springett and all my original oil paintings will be listed. Enjoy and visit often, thanks and have a beautiful Sunday.

This whooper painting is called ” Whooper 10-10 ” and I hope you enjoy.  and the second whooper painting is a 7″ x 5″ and is called ” Good Friday ” the day we saw her, Number 10-10  born in Baraboo,WI  at the International Whooping Crane Center. This painting finishes on eBay today so if you enjoy the Whooper check it out. The current bid is at $0.01.
