Operation Migration-Sept 13,2014-Whooping Crane Festival

This is a recent original oil painting of whooping crane 10-10 and her sandhill crane friends near the Trade River, called, ” Early Morning Sunshine On Trade River ” a 9″ x 12″ x 1/8″ on Masonite hard board, finished in a custom frame. I am doing a new body of whooping crane paintings for this year’s Whooping Crane Festival on Saturday, September 13, 2014 located in Princeton, WI next to the public school. I have painted 3 original oil paintings and gifted to Operation Migration and they are going to auction these painting during the Festival, and the money will help with the costs to fly the ultra-light aircraft to St Marks, FL with this year’s Class of 2014 whooping crane juvenile birds starting about mid October.

The beauty of an arctic wolf and among friends will live a long time and a natural life, among enemies, UGH!!! That is what is happening today, the wolves are not doing well, so help the International Wolf Center and talk to people to really get to know the true story, is very important just like the whooping cranes, how do you think their numbers dropped to just 278 by being treated wonderfully well over all the years UGH!! People your voice is very important and a constant and positive input can turn the tide, from against to for, just believe in what you do and what you say and help one another. Great is the day when the cranes dance and show off, and on November 15, 2013 on a very special morning the whooping crane number 10-10 visiting our area with the sandhill cranes was looking on the sandhill in his special dance pose so I painted this painting to celebrate all life and dancing calling this painting ” Among Friends ” and hope you enjoy a great deal.

Love abides and does no wrong and we love our neighbor as we love our self and that satisfies all your laws.

A 5″ x 7″ Gigantic Moose Painting

Painting large and small takes a great amount of skill doing both sizes. I have learned when painting the finite details of a small painting, where shifting gears and going to larger these paintings take quite a lot of time yet all the lessons learned painting small has helped my large paintings.

IN today’s moose painting on eBay, this is an original oil painting of a Canadian Moose and also a gray wolf( not on eBay) both are very colorful and full of details too. I listed this moose painting on eBay for someone looking for smaller yet a real piece of fine art, nicely framed, an original Jim Springett wildlife oil painting. In the whole world since presenting my work, one painting at a time, I have about 2,500 folks who have a Springett original, not a lot but you have to remember painting is not a printing press and I paint about 110-140 per year and those are all original not a repeat in any one design, takes a lot of work, plus my field time to include.

My wish for you if you enjoy art find an artist who you connect with, who you love their work and who they are as an artists and as a person, make your day bright with beautiful colors and a story that you can share. Each painting for me is a work of love, and not one that I paint is painted technically speaking, only from my heart and that makes painting a breeze for me and not so popular on the street but that is ok because what is hip is not always the best, and i can only paint a few paintings a year, I sell only original oil paintings, real fine art, not a print or copy, why do that??

Sunrise is an awesome light in the morning and these birds are up early, usually way before people have opened their eyes or their brains and they do this everyday, they are super vigilant and faithful to God, to show man a dimension that he often forgets in being so important. All birds have a very special purpose and that is wonderful to watch and see the Glory Of The Lord.

A Little Boy Named Mason

Every year our community thinks about ways to beautify and make the community nicer, but this past year a young 9 year old boy named Mason Getts is dreaming about the day when Webster, WI can build a new children’s playground. Can you imagine for a moment a young 9 year old boy thinking about and then with the help of our Village of Webster Board and community we are steadily working to help Mason and his dream.

So this month, December, the month of Christmas preparations and giving I am painting and listing my work on eBay and starting the bids at $0.99 and no reserves jsyt let this all be the way God intends and not worry about a thing and while God has given me breath and strength and a new day I can pant another and another and another for Mason and his program. All the proceeds for each sale go 100% to Mason’s new playground. The painting on eBay with two sandhill cranes is called ” Summer Skies and Dreams Come True ” finishes today at 7PM CST and the second painting just started last night called, ” Christmas Blessings ” has new bids already too, so a lot of loving people amidst us and many thanks.

A Whooper Near Our Home, on Novemeber 15TH

This is a small mini painting, 4″ x 4″ x 1/8″ on a Ampersand hard board, that I specially coat for oil painting. This is a series of 4 , mini 4″ x 4″ painting I am doing and listing on eBay for Christmas gifts this December. Today I will be panting a bull elk as I have seen in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, ND and so I’ll be posting later this week. I will also paint a sandhill crane and a trumpeter swan just before migration this past October in Crex Meadows, in Grantsburg, WI.
