Northern Lights on October 9, 2013 in Webster,WI

This week of October 9TH was somber in many ways, for a fellow Air Force Veteran named David Hueper, had spent a few weeks in the Twin City VA Hospital and on this Wednesday he passed away, with his daughter Stacey and his wife Ann by his bedside. I had just left 5 minutes and was only a couple of miles from the Hospital when I received the call and I came back and for a moment I was trying to think of Scripture that helps, and so I read John 14, and later their family told me that was David’s favorite chapter in the Bible, God works in mysterious ways and was speaking to me to comfort both his wife Ann and daughter Stacey. God is an awesome God a God Of Miracle and a Just God. Thank you Lord for being with all of us at David’s passing into your arms Father, you give peace and understanding and most of all you give your love to sustain each of us through your Valley of the Shadow. Peace David and may you be smiling down upon all of us fulfilling God’s word and his commands until that day, sir, yes sir, we all love you. Peace.

Psalms 71: Faith Of Our Fathers, Holy Faith!!!

“Lord, you are my refuge! Don’t let me down! Save me from my enemies, for you are just! Rescue me! Bend down your ear and listen to my plea and save me. Be to me a great protecting Rock, where I am always welcome, safe from all attacks. For you have issued the order to save me. Rescue me, O God, from these unjust and cruel men. O Lord, you alone are my hope; I’ve trusted you since childhood. Yes you have been with me from birth and have helped me constantly—no wonder I am always praising you! My success— at which so many stand amazed–is because you are my mighty protector. All day long I’ll praise and honor you, O God for all that you have done for me.”

Love Abides in All Things, God’s Mystery

Just for a day peace and understanding and bringing people closer to one another. Seems that families seem we are not blood related but the whole human race is from the blood of Abraham, and a stranger is just a friend I have not got a chance to visit at this time.

My wish is that families open their homes to others and help many more in a year’s time, start today, and never forget we are strong together, please connect, no one left behind but all together. Your love will heal and make whole once again to give is the gift of receiving, yep, and a dog ( spelled backward is God, awesome) will help heal your heart too, they love unconditionally and I have a very great dog in Bubba our Black lab, I am sharing an image, an oil painting of him and God has blessed me so richly not in things, but in love and so many many loving friends too.

I’d like to share a story about a young American Artist his name is Dylan Pullis and such a very gifted student a Senior in Graceville, MN High School, parents Craig and Stacey Pullis. I am so lucky to know this wonderful artist and he painted a great work of art a few years ago, and gifted to me, that is a treasure to me and is my studio. I have been mentoring Dylan and encouraging the past few years. Dylan is going to attend college in the arts and I know that he’ll be so good at whatever he does.

Have a great day and may your day be filled with love and peace.

This has a very familiar tone and I’ll start to prepare for November and December sales on eBay, many customers looking for my work, and since August I have not listed on eBay, so about 2 1/2 months and is not easy getting a lot of interest once letting the site cool off, O well back to work in the morning, w love and peace be yours.

What makes a Painting?

Ever wonder why a painting speaks to you, you do not know the artists and yet the work is wonderful. Go with it, appreciation is heart felt and a part of who we are. I am very grateful to be painting today at this time.

I think art is a very special medium and one thing as a painter I love color and that translates for me to a way of seeing, a way of loving my subjects for people and sharing that love, color is love. Awesome, my color is love, kindness, and peace..

These four paintings are unique and as you view can you say how they appear, what do you think, they are small 5″ x 7″ and 9″ x 12″ with a lot of thought going into each one.

Peace and may your days be bright and happy. If I can paint for you let me know. I paint wildlife because I love all the birds and animals with all my being and God’s creation is meant to be honored just like people, animals teach me greatly.

” Grief, 5 Stages Presented by Elisabeth Kubler Ross

grey owl-3The pass of loved ones, or any form of death is a very stressful time for the family after a death in the family. The odd thing is that the sequence as studies by Kuber Ross is not a theory but what actually happens to each of us and pretty much in this sequence. Grief is not a laughing matter and fixing is not like putting a band aid on a stubbed toe, far from it.

The 5 stages are 1.bargining 2. anger 3. depression 4 denial 5. denial then acceptance

Please get a copy of Kubler Roos book ” On death and dying” and try to help others trying to cope with a death in the family.

Please help others struggling with their grief, when you can, and keep the faith and keep praying and calling on Jesus name.

” Birhthday Wishes ” To Mary Runestrand

The years come and the years go and father time keeps moving and as the sun rises each morning, God grants us the wisdom of the ages to live our life in abundance and  happiness, most importantly in freedom.

Mary has stood the test of time seeing WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraq War and the list goes on and on, but most importantly since I have known her starting in 1995 until today, she has never said one word against me and while that doesn’t sound like much listen to how people talk about their own family let alone a son-in-law who is only related since being married to her daughter. I love Mary like my own mom, who has since passed away in August 2009 at the age of 89, just short of hitting 90 years of age, and that is awesome too.Mary’s prayers are heart felt and I know when she prays, they are soft and full of love for Marge and I, we both love her with all our hearts.

Happy Birthday next week on Sunday, October 27 th, Mary being 92 is just so wonderful and awesome, and we’ll celebrate and have a great time. Here is a painting that I am gifting to her, an original oil painting on a 9″ x 12″ x 3/8″ True Gesso panel, and is called, ” Noel” for the coming of Jesus and this orchid is a beautiful array of blossoms. Enjoy the most blessed day and may your day be filled with joy and much happiness.

Psalm 47, verses 1-4

” Come, everyone, and clap for joy! Shout triumphant praises to the Lord! For the Lord, the God above all gods, is awesome beyond words; he is the great King of all the earth. He subdues the nations before us, and will personally select his choicest blessings for his Jewish people — the very best for those he loves.”

Sing In Praises, Thank You Father

All my days I have loved to sing so when you get a chance to support some artists singing your favorite sounds and love to sing, go rock. Being dedicated to your love in music is good and keeps your soul loving and flowing.

Losing parents is no cake walk, the Faith Of Our Fathers, Holy Faith, comes to mind and being able to send them on their way to heaven with blessings is so hard to do. Turning rain into sunshine  for the rest of time never letting go of their love, some awesome stuff, very heart felt, all I know is that I love them for all time. It Is like starting over in life when a parent dies and is hard to keep happy. I have known love so deep with my parents they gave me life yes, but God created me, so I remember all the lovely things over all the years and never wanted to see them go, no never, so God’s grace is over me to help soothe my heart and soul. And family children and spouses are loving but is different than a parents love.

For all you veterans All men and women who have been struggling I have so much gratitude for you and you gave me so much security and you hear all our pain, but you help to make a safe memory and bring security to America, giving of your lives and most of all the passion you have to follow our true commander in chief, our Lord, Jesus. The Lord does so much for me and everyone peace be yours today.

David’s, ” A Lovely Poem of Praise”

Black Capped Chickadee-3-C-JES-PrintFor those who are readers of The Psalms, today we read Psalm 45, verses 1-7 and goes something like this from the “Living Bible ” :

” My heart is overflowing with a beautiful thought! I will write a lovely poem to the King, for I am full of words as the speediest writer poring out his story.”

” You are the fairest of all; your words are filled with grace; God himself is blessing you forever. Arm yourself, O Mighty One, so glorious, so majestic! And in your majesty Go on to victory, Defending truth, humility, and justice. Go forth to awe-inspiring deeds! Your arrows are sharp IN your enemies hearts; They fall before you. Your throne O God, endures forever. Justice is your royal scepter. You love what is good and hate what is wrong. Therefore God, Has given you more gladness Than anyone else.”

Amen and Amen!!!

For The Love Of God

Painting WC-1

Everyone from time to time wonders about life and as they are passing through, are they doing the right things. A lot of the answers are right within each of us and I’ll share my thoughts on how I love the work of an artist.

I was not a trained artist and my whole life was spent in science, I worked close to 40 (35) years for 3M company and when I was about 45 years of age, after a divorce, and a lot of heart ache, I started to paint. Many things can happen in ones life and in my case was a divorce. It was a blessing in many ways and as I look back can see that my first wife was not in tune with me at all, and in my present marriage to Marge, we have challenges but I am learning how to love, thank you dear. In a marriage your spouse is either for you 100% (and you will know) or against you, there is no in-between. Life lessons are for a reason to give you strength for the plan God has for you in the coming years, one milestone or several milestones do not define a life and so if you make mistakes don’t fret happens all the time, just make your journey corrections and keep going. Marge and I love to travel and to do our photography and then later I paint.

Back to art and painting. Painting for me is like the air I breath and God has been good to lead me to the water of life and I thank Jesus for everything. This year was fun I was accepted into the Oil Painters Of America and next year I am going to travel and participate in OPA Events. Great fun.

In today’s painting Psalm 23 comes to  me and I love the power in this and when ever you get into trouble go to this Psalm and God’s grace will protect you from whatever is happening. Remember you are not battling flesh and blood but dark powers and you need God’s assurance to protect.

Keep the faith and remember God love’s you, w love Jimmy Springett-wildlife painter
