” A Good Son” our Pastor Brian and wife Marcy’s Son

This year has been a remarkable year in many ways and this is a belated birthday gift. I will be bringing with me today at our Sabbath worship for our Pastor Brian and his wife Marcy. Their son’s birthday was last January and all of the work I was doing on Salvador Mundi had me in the heat of the battle and therefore I could not break away. When you are in leading edge development in painting, you have to stay with it and too many irons in the fire just create a problem and being dyslexic even more so.

We are blessed with so many young sons myself I have two Christopher James and Norman Paul, both tremendous men grown and we have three grandchildren from each family for a total of six grandchildren. Can you imagine what joy all of them create in the Springett household? We have some birthdays coming up in our own family, so this will be a lot of fun as we move toward our Christmas celebration.

This particular painting is very unique. I am painting it on.Aquabord by Ampersand and did my first federal duck stamp in 2009 and this was in January 1 year they came out with this product. It’s used primarily by artist using watercolor however I modify with my own chemistry and can utilize whatever media I want. They have a beautiful base very flat hardboard panel. That is very dimensionally stable and it does save me preparation time if I’m using wood or hardboard and I can amend the surface with my chemistry and move along quicker. This particular painting is a tuneup for my 2025 Ohio duck stamp competition and that painting is due to be shipped between February one and February 13 so I don’t have a great deal of time. I am preparing the panel for that painting in the mate board is being made as the same time so hopefully everything will come together in a positive manner. I’ve been doing unique techniques all my career and this is an all watercolor painting. My first two color layers are in Earth Pigments and additionally afterwards for more color layers by M gram water colors. The surface is a bit rough, but I’ll work the bugs out of that on the next painting in that can happen in a case like this being a very first pain. I have to work out and determine the best practice.

I will be meeting Pastor Brian about 8:30 AM at our church as they have adult Bible study prior to worship service at 10 AM and can pass along our gift from Jimmy Marge and the pups to their son Seth and as we do remember Seth it reminds all of us about the importance of letting others know on their special day. We’re thinking of them and we love them. Even when they are not our own sons. The Lord has taught all of us to love one another and to do unto others as we would want done to ourselves, and that sums up the law in the holy scripture.

have a great day and we send our best wishes to all of you in your entire and today on December 8 Sunday the Sabbath, we thank God, our Lord Jesus for every blessing, big and small and all the little bumps along help us to grow and to reach up to him even more so every day and let him know how much we love and adore him. May you be blessed and may you see his shining face in that day when there’s no beginning and no end we ask in Jesus name amen.
