For those of you who are great admirers of the sandhill cranes then this is the painting for you and your family. This was on October 29,2014 in Crex Meadows Wildlife Area, at sunrise with a storm trying to gain strength but it did not, it dissipated that morning and the sunshine was bright and beautiful. For your enjoyment today I am going to list the 4 process steps for you so you can see how my painting development process and how this process works for me. In a few days I will list this painting on eBay with a fixed price $, and Best Offer $, I like to bargain with you if you are a serious client. My Steps:
1. Sketch, gridding with bird placements
2. Paint the sky and tree background
3. Paint the middle and foreground
4. Paint the sandhill cranes and sign my name
Please ask your questions if you are curious and I’ll answer with the day. With best wishes,
Jimmy Springett wildlife painter
